PhilosophyA sound, structured, efficiently delivered golf course maintenance operation is the key to our game’s future success and as such it is the main focus of my advisory services. To this end I have a simple purpose, which is to release golf club potential. This involves releasing the potential of the individual managers who have the game’s future in their hands.

As a company that owes its existence to the game of golf, we are very aware of our moral duty to the game’s history and in turn the positive part that we can play in its future development.

KMgc aims simply to make a quantifiable difference to golf business operations. To achieve these measured improvements we provide high quality, well informed sound assistance that pervades operation wide.

My management style has always focused on being people orientated with a strong belief that successful business stems from building and maintaining a strong team through clear and effective communication within an open creative culture.

I have multi faceted experience gained over the past thirty years in golf, experience that I want you and your operation to benefit from. Having managed on ‘both sides of the clubhouse door’ I am able to provide an overview of the essential elements that come together to form a successful club and a thriving business.

My experience encompasses strategic business centric planning covering management policy, project planning, operational management through to ‘on the turf’ delivery. All of this experience has been gained at the highest level of project implementation and quality venue management, which leaves me well placed to provide golf operational management with balanced advice on the commercial impact of agronomic policies.

My cross-organisation management experience allows me to provide a holistic overview of all of the essential elements that come together to form a successful golf operation and therefore a thriving business.

I have managed commercial businesses and golf course maintenance operations over a 30 year period, including the Buckinghamshire Golf Club, The Wentworth Club, Royal Dornoch Golf Club and Hankley Common Golf Club.

My golf development experience has been gained as design manager for John Jacobs Golf Associates, Project Director of Golf Projection International GmbH and as the golf development Project Manager for Kajima UK Engineering.

These posts have given me lead roles in development of the Buckinghamshire GC, The London Club, Golf d’Apremont, France and Golf Club Pfaffing, Germany.
